Record these in sketches, photography and/or video recording. Study all the visuals that you had collected. Select visuals that you find relevant and interesting to you, which you can translate into a design work that reflects your interpretation of a place. Remember to apply design principles in your work. For materials, you may use any of your choice, but do consider their suitability to best express your idea. INSTRUCTIONS TASK 3 / Type Design & Communication "You will endeavour to create a typeface that has the hallmarks of a good typeface; subtlety, character, presence, legibility and readability. 01.10.2022 – 30.10.2022 / Week 6 – Week 9 Hewr Khaled Mohamed Walid Bayazid / 0337650 DPI / Bachelor of Mass Communication (Hons) (Broadcasting) Project 2 LECTURES WEEK 5 / Double Exposure This week, wee were introduced to double exposure photography – merging multiple images together. Some of the possibilities that were mentioned are: Using the tilt-shift effect Creating a fake reflection Experimenting with simple portraits and textures Converting results to black & white Working with a silhouette Picking two random photos Making simple objects look fascinating Using shadow We were also briefed on Project 2A. WEEK 6 / Digital Photography This week we learned about the basics of photography and the different settings in a camera. Exposure: The amount of light which reaches your camera sensor or film. Iris: Iris/Aperture is control the flow of light entering the lens. Iris/Aperture is measured by f-stop, indicated by sequence of f-number: f/1, f/1.4, f/2 , f/ 2.8, f/ 4, f/ 5.6, f/ 8

INSTRUCTIONS TASK 2 / Typographic Exploration & Communication "In this task you will be asked to express typographically the content provided in a 2-page editorial spread (200mm x 200mm per page). Choose 1 from the 3 text options provided. No images are allowed.
